Does everyone understand why I'm so adamant about fixing the problem? This makes it pretty difficult to drive in city traffic.

That video reminds me of mine. Btw, did you let your engine idle after reconnecting the battery? I forgot to do that, and I'm going to give that a try this week. I doubt it'll change anything, but it's easy enough to try.

Yes I've tried letting the ecu adjust every possible way. Its good to see I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm on 93 not e85.

For what it's worth, my car was doing the same thing with the Injen intake. Stock, though, it's fine; no issues at all. Problem only started with the tune, but the stock intake works fine with the tune. Still waiting to hear back from Injen, or hoping that John is going to figure out how to tune around it. Not sure which is going to happen.

Is there a way to watch MAF signal (Hz?) with an obd2 reader? I would watch the maf signal and see if it's maybe actually disconnecting... someone else mentioned this happened with the mazdaspeed3 crowd when it was new and it turned out that intakes that relocated the maf and pulled the MAF wires really tight were actually causing disconnect issues.
