So a bunch of stuff came today from FT86motorsports and being an excited little girl, I went and installed it right away.

But before doing that I went and dropped off the spoiler to the painter.

The carbon fins went on first - really easy 30-60 second install. I think they look great, but I got stung with $60 customs fees. Oh well.

Then it was the carbon door handle covers.

Then the carbon ac trim covers

Then the carbon cover for the rectangular spot where change goes. I say change cause I don't have no damn seat heater buttons.

Then the gearshift surround and handbrake handle. While they do look great, I noticed the shifter surround cover didn't cover the whole thing fully. You can still see silver poking around the edges. While on the transmission tunnel it actually provides a nice visual break from the monotony, on the left and right sides I don't like it as much. Could always paint black.

The handbrake handle was a bit tough. Had to twist and pull pretty hard. My years at the gym paid off! Not sure why everyone unscrews the button? Mine came off and the new one went on without ever removing the button. Looks lovely.

That's it for now but I have some more stuff coming in the next day or two so stay tuned.

Nice looking mods so far.

Quick question: for the reverse lockout that you got from Aliexpress, I bought that too but am not sure how to go about the install.

Did you use the same pin from the original to the new one?

Yes. I got a local twin owner to help me out with the install. I kept hammering at it but the bit I was using was too small so I was getting nowhere with it. It has to be the exact size and it comes out in under 30 seconds. I think we didn't hammer the old pin back in all the way cause under WOT it rattles like a bitch

I installed the GT86 emblem to replace the Toyota one. The only drawback is that for some reason toyota decided to indent the emblems, so you can see a semi-circular indentation right below the new emblem. Not very noticeable but annoying nonetheless. Also took a pic next to my gf's cooper

I absolutely love all the carbon fiber inserts!

I'm a fellow Canadian in the U.S. Pacific Northwest - anyone know a good supplier to get those carbon fiber inserts here in the U.S.?

Thanks!

Absolutely. You can try ft86speedfactory.com, 86worx.com, carbonart.ca (pretty sure they ship worldwide)
