2017 BRZ, no Starlink, Pioneer & Maestro = No Door Speakers
Hi Everyone,
I got the "no door speakers" problem with my Maestro and I'm looking for the wire coming from the telematics unit "the 8 pin connector". But I don't have the SOS button in my car and the 8 pin connector isn't present behind the HU. What am I missing here? |

If there is no audio to the door speakers it means your factory amp is not powering up. I had to add a wire to the Maestro harness (pin 9 IIRC) to send a signal to power up the factory amp. There are several threads about this if you just search my post history or COBlue’s history... we all have a 2017 BRZ with a Maestro RR and a Pioneer head unit.

Thanks man, that was it. Wasn't sure if I had a factory amp and the starlink thing had me working in the wrong direction.
