It's been a really bad day for me. I needed to go to the store today, so left the house, hit the first step and flipped on my back like in a movie. Luckily I flew out enough to miss the step with the back of my head. I fell flat on my back

My back is messed up. I tried to stop my fall with my left hand. My wrist and arm are majorly f'ed up. I don't think I broke anything, but man I hurt.I

Shit!!

If you hit your head, you should get a CT scan done.

On the bright side, if you have to ice your back, you can just lay down outside?

Anyone have good/bad experience with State Farm auto insurance? Considering switching from GEICO to combine with homeowners (which I am switching already) to save an extra few hundred a year.

The auto insurance is about $150 more expensive a year, but the discount on homeowners from having both is like $500. That's like half a set of AX tires lol.

I had them for years. Don't recall having any issues, but then again, I never had to file a claim. I switched out since they just got too expensive for me as I didn't have anything else to combine to get discounts.

On the upside, you are retired so you don't have to go to work tomor... Wait it's Saturday, nevermind that sucks.

Hope you aren't injured and feel better soon.

Yeah they wound up being the cheapest homeowners insurance by itself with better coverage than what I had. Travellers upped my homeowners bill by 25% with no changes in coverage so I went shopping. Discounts are nice lol.

Have been working out since end of Nov… some days it’s not easy, but just keep telling myself “STFU & just do it!” Even then some days are hard to find the motivation to workout.

Sadly weight haven’t changed, but I can tell I’m slowly shaving fat & adding more muscles. Happy that I’m able to do more reps without dying… but def wanna see loosing weight to hit the weight goal. I know it’s not an overnight goal. Gotta keep going at it.

I was like that for a long time till I started managing my diet. It wasn’t till I started using a smart watch to track my workouts and managed my macro’s along with tracking the calories I was consuming that I was really able to start loosing weight. I am not on a strict diet, I think those are too hard to manage and hard to make a lifestyle of. I just pay attention to what I eat vs my activity level to maintain.

Damn dude, glad to hear you didn’t seriously hurt yourself. Sounds like you need some hot tub time.

My dad slipped during the winter storm he had and hurt his back. He is so stir crazy he called and talked on the phone for an hour. He’s usually a sub 1 minute phone call person so he must be super bored.

State Farm bumped ours quite a bit. I've had a good experience with them many years ago as a renter... At this point I'm assuming it'll be tough to get anything reasonable out of any insurance company.

If you want shred off size, intermittent fast will be your friend. BTW, how is toy/sport car "hunt" doing?

I already kinda do IF & don’t see much results anymore. Like some days I literally don’t eat anything til 7pm. Also noticed that, IF rebound your weight so fast if you stop. My buddy recommended calorie count & protein count. I wanna go into it… when I get into the habit of working out more instead of current basic workout.

As for toy car hunting, it wasn’t for me. I saw it online & I was thinking what cars are qualified in that requirement. Next sporty car will be 86 or Supra. Prob that’ll happen in next 5yrs… so I hope

I finally got around to changing the batteries in my scale and I'm supposedly down 5lb from November. Just been cutting back on food a bit, not a lot of exercise though. Working on it... Lol

I've found calorie counting (or points systems a la weight watchers) to be effective in earlier efforts to lose weight. The problem is I inevitably get too stressed over something and stop caring for a while.
