You're dyno chart is what sold me on this kit.. Do you know what A/R your turbo is?

And are you on a built short block? If so would you mind sharing the CR ?

Cheers

Love the kit fast spool, great power band, and bad ass noise. What's not to like?

Here are some Pictures of my kit.

This was one of the pulls. Final numbers were 380hp and 340 TQ.
Which reminds me I need to have my tuner send me the final chart haha.

Did they offer that intake with the kit? Mine didn't even come with a filter lol

They offer intake as option. But I think it will be 2.5" pipe.

I had custom made a 3" intake.

7 track days in since the install in august still running like day one.
Oh stock internals... just slap the kit in and get a good tune is all you need for it to run well. No problems.

Their kit now comes with a 2.5" filter automatically and an optional 3" cold air intake they fixture'd off the one I made for my car.

Thanks,
Eric

I wonder what the Velox kit uses?

There's the EFR 71/63 0.80 A/R IWG (T4) OR the EFR 71/63 0.85 A/R IWG (T25).

Cheers

You can always ask me .

Joey and myself run the 0.80 A/R TS (Twin Scroll) T4 IWG (Internal Wastegate) option of the kit. It has been proven multiple times that twin scrolls out-perform single scroll variants in transient, mid-range, and top-range power, it is a superior design. It seems like a no-brainer to me to run the T4 twin-scroll vs. the single scroll but ultimately the decision is up to you.

Thanks,
Eric

Cheers brother, thanks for the quick response.

So I assume the package kit on your site is the .80 AR twin?

I'm really torn between the EFR 67/58 0.80 A/R T4 and the 71/63 .80 T4.

I want to mimic your guyses power numbers and torque curve but was thinking that maybe with the 67-58 I could reach similar torque numbers just a bit sooner? What are your thoughts?

If I did choose to go with the 67-58 would I be able to get it through you?

I have the 6758 and I love it. Can't compare to the 7163, but I'm very happy with my choice.

Ah thanks for your input, i just realized you've had this kit for over a year now!

I love that intake you have. Is it custom?

You wouldn't happen to have any dyno sheets would ya?

Still on stock block as well?

Cheers

Yup over a year and a half now! Had the block built last winter from heads to crank. Currently running 11.5:1 compression, so my numbers will be a bit different. I'd have to dig around a bit for the dyno sheets. Idk what I did with them haha
Which intake are you referring to? My NA cold air? Not currently running any special sort of intake with the Full Race kit.

On one of your pics page 16 you have a stubby cone filter right up against your turbo.

Ahh.. I'd love to see that dyno sheet but don't dig too hard. Is it similar to the 7163's people are running above?
Do you remember what numbers your hitting? Im wondering if the 67-58 can hit 300+ wtq and not fall off too hard by 7000 rpm.

I'm thinking of built 12.5-1 e85 and 67-58 hitting 400w-300+tq and hopefully not seeing a waterslide torque drop off.

I'm sure those numbers are easily doable with the 6758. Pushing 500 whp I could see a drop off, but I'm confident you would run 400-450 whp, especially keeping the compression up like that without seeing a large drop-off in torque. I'll look around and see what I can find. Have yet to hit a dyno with the new motor setup. Custom tweaked e-tune from Bill @ Delicious following the build.

That is correct, that is our recommended kit for a few reasons and I didn't want to add each kit to our website. However, we can order any variant you want, not a problem.

Why we went with the 7163 over the 6758 for our specific build in no particular order:
-Latest EFR turbo sporting the only mixed flow turbine wheel
-Aluminum CHRA (lightweight, saves about 4-5 lbs)
-The same turbo is used in IndyCar
-The ability to push low-mid 500 hp which the 6758 seems to be limited to around 420-450 max.

To us, the difference in spool wasn't worth the above positives. The difference in spool is going to be around 300RPM. Transient response for both will still be awesome, you honestly can't go wrong with either unit! Ultimately, the decision rests on you and you can't go wrong with either, so don't spend TOO much time mulling it over, you'll be happy either way .

@gabeg86 - If you happen to stumble upon your dyno chart, please e-mail me or post it up in this thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...55#post2767355 I'm attempting to keep all of Full-Race's turbo kit results in a single thread and managing it.

As for 6758, from the owner's thread, I'm posting a dyno chart below. It seems this dyno gives a bit inflated numbers IMO (stock-ish car hp was 173hp) but still gives a great representation of torque curve.

6758 Twin Scroll T4
Built Engine
E85, 27PSI by 3500RPM, 4-port solenoid with twin port IWG.

Thanks,
Eric
