What can one do to get a similar look? Make a stencil and find some kind of oil-based paint you can spray? How do Michelin, Continental, ect do it for their racing tires?

Quick question.

How does a person even get those oem factory race slicks like these? Race slicks always have this really cool appeal to me.

I presume tire shops could order them from the manufacturer. But I bet they're around $300 each for even a modest 15'' tire.

But I did have an issue with the paint fading. It only took one track day to go from beautiful white to faded.

After

Go to http://www.tredwearletters.com/ They have the best rubber made deal tire letters around. You can get any color, any text, any size and these will last, they don't peel up, fade and can wash with no problem. I bought a few sets off these guys. Well worth it and looks incredible.....

There's special leather material that you can glue onto your wheel. Let me find the company that makes them. Most famous tire brand use this method of letter.
