Hi Guys - Just want to share a photo of my 86 on Hayashi STL's. It got a podium finish in the recent CircuitShowdown (Time Attack) in Batangas Racing Circuit, Philippines.

Love these wheels! They look good and they handle very well in the track. Really happy with them. :-)

Ok, ok, ok!

I have been back and forth with a second wheel choice for the FR-S as long as I can remember.

Almost went with the Rota RKR, then really liking (again, I may add) the Enkei NT03-m, but again found the Hayashi STL.

So, when my old Turbo Z (and its two sets of wheels) finds its next owner, I will have room for another set of FR-s wheels and I would like to buy the STL's!!

WHERE in US can we get a set of these? Or do I have to cash in some serious 'across-the-west-pond' friend points and try to get a set direct from Japan?

I am in no paticular hurry, but I haven't found any updates in availability in the US since late spring, and would love to buy the wheels!

I'll have news about that very soon in fact, we were able to negotiate the price down quite a bit.

Looks like Club4ag got a good deal with Hayashi JP on these wheels

Hayashi Racing Street STL

I've seen in person & gotta say, it looks nice. I'm very tempted...

I see that they are being offered via the 4ag site. Which offset of the STL is on the blue car? +35 or +43?

Thanks, Eric G

The set on Ryan's Blue FR-S is the +35 offset version. Made for the FR-S/86/BRZ. The 43 is more for fitments like the Prius and Yaris.

I'm in my late 40s and into retro styling - fuchs for 911s, old speedmasters, etc. I have my STL awaiting release from Sydney customs. I ordered it direct from Osaka. I plan to put on 225/45/17 size tires but don't want to stray too far from the 86's stock handling as I am happy with it. That's why I am contemplating, depending on the final look I want to acheive, whether to drop it with lowering springs. I don't have the money for coilovers. Any opinions?

I'd just go with a spring that give about 1 inch drop, you'll be fine then.

I'm very much considering these wheels, only thing that fears me is that i'll have to get them clear coated.
