I would not trade it in, simply not worth it. Drive it as it is and just enjoy it. Not worth throwing away thousands of dollars over the transmission.

You bought this car at that price for a reason, taking a big hit just because you want MT is basically adding to the cost of the car and making its bang for the buck significantly less. Plus it is basically pure profit for the salesman, whose job it should have been to make sure you were happy with the car before buying it.

Coming from the M3, yeah, I'd has a little sad...
You might have to tune your expectations a little perhaps.
I chose the AT for numerous reasons. Heck, my daily is a manual and I've had MT's on and off over the years. 30+
It's a lot of fun once you know the limits. I know I've had mine for just over a month and I'm still loving it. Even after a months worth of thought before making my choice. The test drive sealed the deal for me. I thought I might have a little remorse...
NOPE...

I third that Sport or Manual mode The paddles are a blast and the Way it Blips itself is a blast.

I would prefer the same color.

I will prob take you guys advice and wait til the values for used ones are established.
Murph if u can afford it sell it.... U got caught up in the hype now ur down because u got the AT over the MT......
This car is made to put a smile on ur face, not make u wish u didnt get what u got.... Take a lose and drive the sh*t out of ur new MT.....
U know what u wanna do and if u can live with the AT fine but if its really upsetting u and ruining ur experience get rid of it..... And ASAP because the longer u leave it the less driven u will be to make the change.... Obviously just my opinions... Just hate hearing from an unhappy 86 owner plus i f*kn hate AT's with a passion.... Especially cars built to see the track...

Ow and dont forget u could just sell and wait for a MT second hand pops up with super low miles on it.... Then u'll come out almost even....Already one of our members looking to sell in North Carolina.... Obviously way to far but still... There is hope.....http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15250
