Chase Bays FR-S

We received delivery on our white FR-S about a month ago. And I personally...am in love. I'm always hating on the design of cars...old and new. To me, things seem poorly thought out far too often. Manufacturers will do a great job on the motor or exterior but a poor job on the interior or suspension. Or vise versa. There hasn't been a sub $30,000 car like this in years, if ever. I think all the incredible design features and benefits go without saying. You guys already know.

S3 featured the car. We were REALLY happy with how it turned out and REALLY happy with the article that was written. Chase Bays advertises on the back cover and we've known all the guys there for almost 10 years, it was nice to finally have a car featured in there. And the Spec Clutch Ad just so happened to be a neighbor. =)

I don't know if my eyes are mediocre or if the print isn't very much readable. Maybe you can read it on here. If not then (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

That's all for now, thanks for reading!

Should have put that

18x9.5 +30 all around. It's perfect.

The only suspension change is Tein S.Tech's right now. We haven't installed our KW V3's just yet, we'll make it a little lower. This isn't going to be "stanced" or "hellaflushed". I'm ready for that trend to end. I want the the most amount of the 235 F and 255 R tires to grip.

Am I correct to assume you're using the stock shocks? If so how is the ride compared to stock? Did you have to cut bump stops or was it just a straight up spring replacement and alignment?

I don't wanna jump in on their build, but Tein S-Techs require you to cut the front bump stops, but leave the rears alone. At least, that is per instructions.

I'm liking that headlight concept. I have seen the good work you all do in the Honda world. Will be interested in what you all do here.

Small update and showing off a new product

We've created a replacement for the OEM charging and grounding harness. The Chase Bays Charging/Grounding Harness takes the bad design of the OEM system from mediocre to great.

We've added an additional 2 grounding points to the harness, anything more netted zero improvement under any and all further electrical loads. Being that this kit was designed on an actual FR-S/BRZ chassis…it ensures that all wire gauges are optimal for amperage and current travel distance. This will also improve aesthetics greatly, and save about a pound of weight. Nothing ground breaking, but a very functional and great looking piece.

Chase Bays Charging/Grounding Harness, Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ

The OEM harness
