It does go landscape, you just have to set up a new dash from scratch
It works pretty everywhere, it s just a tad annoying to set up

Even if you are jailbroken or can mirror your phone, the app doesn't support landscape mode so the gauges look funky on the headunit. I'm doing that at the moment, and even though it works, it's so clunky and everything looks weird.
The iphone app doesn't do landscape? That might be the first time I've ever seen an android app do something that the iphone one doesn't. Dashboards in landscape are great.

it works for me as usual

After updating to 3.9.3 version everything still behaves the same? The ECUTek guys are in Europe, maybe there is something different about the ECMs and how they talk to the bluetooth module.

Yup, worked without problems on 3.9.3, at least for me.
They just updated to 3.9.4.1

Mine did. I got an OBDII extension cable. Works fine now. Just doesn’t like being directly connected

bbfly-B4 OBD II OBD2 16 Pin Splitter Extension 1 x Male and 2 x Female Extension Cable Adapter (1FT/30CM) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071HP9JFJ..._k41uEbGKA83BD

I have one going to my scangauge connected just under the normal OBD port only a little lower so much easier to get to but still out of the way. And i have the other one running to the right side tucked behind the side panel plastic trim piece close to my knee with just the connection sticking out super easy to get to, and still out of the way though. i use that one for ecutek or any time i need to connect something to OBD. Connections are really easy to plug into but also very sturdy strong connection. Much better then oem connector in every way.

OBD2 extension cable.

The 2013 and some 2014 OBD2 ports are finicky.

So is there a head unit that can run EcuConnect app or not? I’ve seen a lot about jail breaking and Bluetooth naming convention issues. I’d really like to throw an android head unit in download the app on it and be able to do everything without my phone.
