I'd do both, for now. You can fine tune the balance of front/rear rebound based on driving style, and what your desired outcomes are.

You'll know you've added too much rebound if your car feels too stiff/skittish, so start with small adjustments.

KWs are slotted. You should be able to get past -2.5 with an OEM crash bolt.

One note, I'd recommend taking your car to AZP Installs in New Jersey for your performance alignment.

That's possible, but the crash bolt is a replacement too and not the standard bolt. So in any case "ハチロク" will have to get another bolt.

Also have AZP corner balance your car to get a little bit more out of it

Thanks. I've only heard good things about AZP on the forums.

I added 3 clicks or rebound on all 4 corners. I can definitely feel a big difference over bumps. feels like I get a little more feel on direction changes too. Problem is it's still bouncy. I didn't really feel any difference in how bouncy it is after I made the rebound adjustment. I also noticed even when I close the door I am seeing the car shake back and forth way more than I used to on stock suspension. What should I do?

I've never understood this. You used the bottom lock nut and extended the whole assembly? Why not set ride height with the Spring Perches Properly?

The KW v3 only has 1 adjustment ring to adjust ride height. Some coilovers have two adjustments one to adjust "spring pre-load" and one to adjust ride height. The KW v3s as seen below don't really need this. The kw coilovers ship with two springs per coilover. You can see there is a "helper spring" the flat spring on top and the "main spring" the larger looser wound spring on bottom. With the KW coilovers when you adjust the ride height you are compressing or loosening the helper spring when the coil isn't mounted. I have my coilovers set up to max height. this means that at fully extended the helper spring is already compressed (in normal driving conditions once the coilovers are mounted and the car is lowered the helper spring will always be compressed anyway). KW gives specific instructions as to how much you can adjust the adjustment ring so that you don't add "spring pre-load" to the main spring.

Ah Ok. I thought like so many you had the threaded body and were actually extending the body of the suspension to be longer. You should pretty much always adjust ride height with the "preload". Even though thats a heavily misunderstood topic. Good to see that the KW's do it the correct way.

Just got an alignment at AZP Installs. They got me about -2 camber front and rear (with stock crash bolt). These guys did a great job and were very fast and helpful. Thank you for the recommendation!

Since I started this thread I have been messing around with the coilover settings. right now my settings are:
Front:
Rebound 6
compression 4
Rear:
Rebound 6
compression 3

The rebound adjustment did way more to make the ride feel harsh. I think I'll take it back a click or two. Compression adjustment was a bit harder to feel. It comes across more to me in fast corners and a bit on turn in.

Not much really helped the bouncy feel until I put more air in the tires.... I think a lot of the bounce was in the tires themselves not the suspension.... Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes. My current tires feel VERY weird over bumps now that I have stiffer suspension.
