What should I do with my Stock?

Stock FR-S 10-Series

I want exhaust and intake. Any suggestions?

Don't want to void the warranty. It's also a lease. I work at a Toyota Scion dealership as a car salesman. =\ A shame I don't know these things, but have you guys had problems with your warranty? I talked to a finance team member he said as long as you turn it to stock before you get work done it shouldn't pop any codes. That's only if I go aftermarket. TRD is fine.

Also...My FR-S is automatic. I tried racing my cousin's b20v and got dusted. He took off a lot faster---I don't know how to peel off in an AT FR-S.

HELP

You see that's what I thought to myself. Then I immediately remembered how stupid the current generation of teenagers are in general.

My best advice is... Do nothing enjoy the P*ssy Points for owning such a marvelous car cause that's what you bought it for right?! After lease is up either consider buying car and modifying it or buying an Acura RSX so your B20 buddy doesn't stack up to you.

Will take a chance that NOT a troll until proven wrong!
Depends what you are looking for out of the exhaust and intake. Presume from the fact you got an auto you are not looking at a lot of racing/track time. (don't flame me auto guys YOU know how to drive it he obviously does not)
If just looking for nice sound and very modest performance improvement just go with the TRD parts and not worry about the warranty.

And for GODs sakes learn more about the cars you sell! (That also goes for any other Scion salesman that doesn't have a clue!)

Automatic FR-S are simply not good from a standstill.

Personally, I am saving for Perrin exhaust and waiting for the yet to be released Grimmspeed intake. Should be no worries with codes. Both quality products and well tested.

Since you work with Scion, you should have the resources to get the correct answer with respect to warranty.

I don't understand the concept of doing mods on a LEASE vehicle. I guess you can always remove the items prior to turning the car in.

You wont void the warranty. Read the Magnuson-Moss act, it stops dealers from denying warranty work unless they can prove the aftermarket part caused the failure of said part in question in event of a failure. Some how I doubt an intake and exhaust is going to cause a failure..

so long as you can return it to stock before turning the car back in then it should be fine.

OH I can think of all kinds of ways they could mess with the warranty by blaming the exhaust and intake! Not that I agree with them but could make a really good sounding case to a judge.

You can always buyout the car at the end of the lease as well. Not a big deal either way.
