CAM Damage found during J02 Recall

So I went into the dealer for J02 recall and when they pulled the motor and got to the cam's this what they found. Oil pump is apparently fine and working, but I'm trying to figure out how this has happened in the first place, car has 146,000km (90k miles) been serviced with the dealer up to 100,000km (62k miles) and every 10,000 km (6,200 miles) afterwards with Motul/AMS 0w-20 and genuine subaru filter.

Motor has never been opened I've got crawford intake blocks, Robispec Oil/Radiator on the car. Which shouldn't make any difference. My other concern is if the cam's were starved of oil, what does the crankshaft look like considering it's a known point of failure.

TIA

Loss of pressure at some point. If only that journal is scored then look for the blockage just upstream.

Unfortunately both intake and exhaust have scoring on both sides.

Here is a functional diagram of the oiling system. Not very helpful but it's a start.

Slightly better is this image.

Still can't identify the cause of the starvation but at least it gives you an idea. These pages are out of the new-features section of the manual. Link is in my signature line.
