It is not. E85 tune, and CARB tune, are mutually exclusive.

Here’s a question:
Logs have been showing .33 adv mult.
I hear my throwout bearing talking to me... not really its more just a definite knock.
Question time! Can the Knock sensor recognize this unholy romping as knock?? I for sure know what knock sounds like, and I am not getting knock:/
Also, what kind of mass air flow rates (g/s) are normal? I’m getting around 211 g/s (28 lb/min) which really doesnt add up considering the max for the C38 is around 1032 CFM, about 77 lb/min...

How much of babying and monitoring do people DD their JRSC? Is this kit reliable to the point you don’t have to pay extra attention to every details under the hood each time you drive?

Well, you have to monitor and take care of your car a little differently than the stock car. The dealer will not take care of everything for you anymore. I just got a P1072 the other week, for example. I didn't take it to service or post here. MAF had to be cleaned, cleaned it and the CEL is fixed. MAF needs to be cleaned more frequently than stock car. I listen the engine every day if recirculation valve is working when the car is idle or when I release the throttle after boost. The compressor can get damaged without that valve working properly. I monitor the sound of supercharger every time. Keep an eye on traction fluid, regularly clean and oil the air filter. Empty the catch can, if you install one. Just such little extra care which is fun actually.

I don't monitor anything with the JRSC more than I monitor any other car. Check the oil in the system occasionally, follow the maintenance guide, if you hear/feel something wrong, address it. The only problem I've had since getting the JRSC, 15-20k miles ago, is a dirty belt.

Agreed. There is traction fluid going through the supercharger too. I think it is also mixed with the compressed air in tiny amounts.

Installed mine at 23k miles and aside from the defective blower unit(<5k miles) that was covered and replaced, it's been just standard car maintenance. I'm currently at 78k and the only thing I've done for the JRSC was replacement of the traction fluid just last week. I have a spare belt in the trunk just in case but the current one looks fine. Oil changes are done at 6-8k intervals using 0w-30 castrol and air filter is cleaned during every oil change. For the amount of added power and fun you get, it's worth the extra care.

As for driving, I just warm up for a couple minutes every morning and keep the revs low until the engine it up to operating temperature. You can get decent oil temp readings from the Torque App and a OBD2 scan tool. There's a thread with the formula and sensor setting for torque to get the oil temps somewhere in the forums. The only other thing I monitor is engine oil pressure which I have a gauge with a sensor installed in place of the oil gallery plug. Mainly for my own peace of mind but I don't think it's necessary.
Hope this helps.

Assuming it's installed correctly, no more than any other FI kit.

Check the rotrex fluid and empty your catch can (if applicable) whenever you do an oil change.

Clean and oil the intake filter every 15k/20k

Install and drive!

Yes, there a few new maintenance items over stock, but nothing on a more frequent basis than stock.

Who has JRSC with aftermarket header? Anyone pairing it up with Tomei EL? What’s your review?
