It's obviously not a 86.

Taillights are an easy fix.

Obviously it is just a test car, so hopefully there are lots of changes before launch.
it doesn't look like a next gen supra to me, looks more like a new 86 to me, I like when car companies come out with a next gen model but you can still see some of the old gen in it, like the concept below

Like I said, hopefully it is just a test mule and not indicative of what the production car will be.

That white car is sharp, Toyota do that....lol. Just....do anything like the concept car your showed.

Interior is very BMW - gauges, HVAC. No central tach, so not a sportscar but a GT cruiser - boo.

Like to see this at $50k CAD, would be interested, but not much chance of that I'd guess.

Hopefully more shots come out, and they stay as true as possible to the original concept. First spy shots though, gotta say I'm disappointed.
Those tail lights are decoys. They're random cheap-o tailights that can be found on e-bay.

The real tail lights will be under the camouflage. Probably some kind of boomerang shape that's becoming so common these days.

I doubt the red reflectors screwed into the lower bumper are going to make production, either.

That round style got old 15 years ago.

Yeah, hopefully it comes out with the concept car's rear end.

I think the FT-1 looks awesome but its a bit overbearing & I doubt it'll look anywhere near that in production.

The previous iterations of the Supra were very simple and clean, hopefully they keep it to its roots.

Yeah I'd agree with that, the side profile looks very MKIV-esque. Who knows what they're covering up though as far as body lines lol, I just want to know what's under the hood.

Lol but that car isn't even out. Even still, the basic shape is identical between the test mule and the "final" version.

While I'm sure there are changes that will be made, the overall shape is pretty disgusting. What's worse is the fact that the interior is 100% BMW, and base trim BMW, at that. Shit steering wheel, basic HVAC control, gauge cluster etc.

I'm not a big fan of Supra's to begin with, as I think they're way overhyped, but one of the things I loved about the MKIV was how the interior was soo driver focused.

Everything that I'm seeing right now on this new MKV is a huge disappointment.

Agreed, Supra's were way overhyped. Basic muscle car. Lots of power, so-so handling. Looks (in my book were 6/10 for the era (that generation's RX-7, Subaru SVX, and Diamond Star Triplets were better looking IMO).

As far as the interior goes.

These two interiors are from the same car. One sold as a Mercedes (GLA class), another as an Infiniti (QX30). Point being don't take too much from what you've seen today from the Merc interior version other than general layout. The Toyota could be vastly different.

You know what I meant to say. My point was when everyone saw the LC test mule they called it bland, boring, and water down. But than Lexus showed off the production car and bam :p

Interior could change. This could just be a very early prototype.

Idk, as posted on the 1st page the side screaming Supra.

I'll reverse judgment until the production car is unveiled.
