Stateside? I really don't expect it at all.

HOWEVER, that means easy/cheap turbo conversions down the line for us all!

Boy oh boy, you're just a never-ending fountain of misinformation. First it was the 'FT-86 using a modified impreza chassis' and now this. As others have stated, source? I certainly hope it wasn't the same source that told you about the chassis.

Scion 2.0n/a 198hp 150tq
Subaru 2.5n/a 201hp1 173tq
Subaru will then release 2.0t based on the Scion's mill with not yet confirmed production hp targeted for Q3 2012.

Nice, but it still doesn't answer the question for a source. It's info that can easily be pulled from where the sun don't shine.

What 2.5l na boxer engine will subie be using? Are they going to bore out the FB to 2.5l just for this car? That's interesting. Why turbo the 2.0l and not the 2.5l. as that's completely different than the way subaru has operated in the U.S.

But if it happens that will be good for you turb0 guys...you just have to wait 6 months after the rest of us are alreadying enjoying our cars.

For me I don't get is why they wanna turbo that FB20 engine. Yes, I understand some ppl want turbo... but at the same time why they wanna waste $ & time spend to make FB20 engine high rev w extra hp, if they gonna use FB20 as turbo. Pointless
