Thanks. This was taken around 9:45-10:00pm, not too long after sun-down, so the Sun's light, while not visible, was still making it's way over the horizon. With the higher ISO and longer exposure, I was able to capture that. I was also standing next to a large lake that was reflecting the Moon's light. So I think it was a joint effort. If I had done this an hour later, I doubt I'd get the orange glow.

Yes, but if you had shot it an hour later, you would've gotten less clouds, and more stars!

Is that one shot, or multiple shots?

It was overcast most of the night unfortunately :\ I had tried to get a good shot of the Milky Way the night before but didn't really know what I was doing. I wanted to try again but the clouds moved in. Wasn't a complete lost though :P Now I know better and currently trying to extract something from the failed shots the night before.

Just picked up the Canon 70D a few months ago to replace my aging T1i. I still use the 18-55 and 55-250 kit lenses though. I also have a 50mm 1/8 prime and a macro attachment that comes in handy. I really want to pick up a 28mm 1.8 one of these days to replace the 50mm I have. If only I didn't spend so much money on my car :P

Just a Canon T2i. I use a Sigma 30mm f1.4 (not the ART one) for "daily" shots. I also have a Canon 85mm f1.8 and a Canon 100mm f2.8 macro in addition to the 18-55 kit lens.

Bad ass collection guys! I am thinking about a 70D myself or a T4i. Still trying to weight the pros and cons between the two.
