You guys seen how low my FR-S is, so that's one reason that's holding me back on getting anything ever. I'd definitely have to remove both pieces when ever I go in to get an alignment. And if I don't angle in and out of my driveway, the front bumper will scrape, and my driveway isn't even steep. So that's how I don't get how dumped people drive around with lips/splitters.
I can tell you that the velox splitter will take a beating for sure. My whole underside of the splitter has went through hell. I barely clear the speed bumps at work (the ones at stonestown in SF going into the underground parking). It just scraps over it but doesn't drag at all. I hit a dip at a very high speed while turning into another street (didnt see the dip) and it only broke about 2-3 square inches off the rear left of the splitter. Plastic welded it back and it still holds.

Also mind that I have this splitter underneath my nur-spec lip so it actually lowers the front another 1.5-2 inches. I don't know how low your car is but I can barely fit my foot underneath my front. I would say I have about 3 inches or maybe slightly less of clearance for my front. Elite performance was able to do an alignment on my car (getting on and off the rack) with no issues or the need to take it off. For their driveway, just need to go a little more sideways.

For the diffuser, I can't comment on that, but last I heard, it hangs higher than the lowest part of the tomei type-80 (which I have)

That's what I wanted to hear. To give you an idea of how low my car is:

Not dumped, but it is low. If I ever get the front splitter and rear diffuser, I'll most likely end up raising the car by half an inch or so. I'd most likely get the rear diffuser first since I'm running a muffler delete (makes the rear bumper like a parachute since there's just a pipe back there).

iirc, it was about 2" lower than stocked when measured from the center of the wheel cap to the middle of the wheel arch.

My car sits around the same height (based off the first photograph, second one looks like its at more of an angle). I'll try to get a picture of it tomorrow since it's really cold outside. I'll use a soda can (avg height around 4.83 inches according to google) for comparison to how low I am. I don't recall how far down mine sat from stock. Need a really good flat surface to measure.

I'm currently on type-80 so my rear has been a parachute as it's a single exit. I thought about the diffuser but it hasn't really affected my gas mileage as much as I thought it would.

hmmm, I don't drink sodas unless I'm out eating somewhere. Only thing I can use is a Rockstar can.

Yeah, same here, the mpg didn't really get affected after I installed the Berk muffler delete. I'm just using the parachute reason to justify getting a rear diffuser.

What's funny is my Yaris picked up 2-3 mpg more after I lowered it about 2" (didn't even get it aligned yet since it's still driving straight).

Well that was fast! Showed up today drop shipped from China in a box with "Rexpeed" labeled tape.

I'd give it about a 7/10 on the quality scale. Certain areas where you can see where the edge of the overlay meets up with another piece of overlay. Finish is good over all, but does have some pitting in some spots.

Certainly appears to just be a clear resin covered CF overlay, not "covered with clear coat" per the item's description.

If it isn't actually clear coated, I'd wet sand it with super fine grit sand paper and clear with with some duplicolor clear. After that dries, I'd wax it a few times to be sure you don't get issues.

haha. I fortunately don't do the energy drink. My kryptonite sugary/bad drinks are soda (though not as much if I can help it) and sweet boba tea :|

here's a picture of her with the can haha! A little over half way of the can so like I said about 3 inches.

Parachute effect is a good excuse but invalid unless you on track :P

Mpg win with lowered cars :P

Don't know the answer to that unfortunately. I think the feel is different. Resin would feel softer to the finger nail???
