Its not FI related at all. It's running the flex fuel kit. It could have happened N/A. Others running this fuel kit found leaks as well. There is a thread about it.

Guess I made a good decision running stock while others tested the power mods first.

if the owner takes off all the mods and puts the stock parts back on, it's all gonna be taken care of by the warranty, right?

Definitely. They'll never notice the missing front end! How will they be able to prove it was caused by aftermarket parts if there are no parts remaining? This is genius! No proof, no problem!

I would be willing to bet that the average insurance adjuster and/or dealer tech wouldn't be able identify any modifications even if they were left in place after an engine fire (insert random Subaru fire damaged boxer engine burnt to a crisp) ...
