I got to go also. Squid had used up the last of the good days. I got there 5-4-2013, rain for next 3 Days and did break some sunshine for the 6th when I did my second tail run. This pic on the 5th, it misty rain the entire run pretty much. On that
day I came in from Cherohala skyway, nightmare for the wife with the fog and rain... and the road had a washout area! The next day I came in from the Moonshine 28 which was bomb also. My good fortune was pretty much empty both days around 3-4pm when I was there, bad thing, I do not see any pics up yet. I'll post couple of the other pics also.

Spent the last two days at the dragon. I officially have no tires now, brakes will soon follow. I officially succeeded in making every sport bike that was ever in front on me get out of my way. What rubber is not in my fenders is now at the exit of most of the curves there. First time to take the frs there and was surprised how well it did.

For everyone that hasn't heard yet.. The next Dragon trip will be the first weekend in July.

I was thinking about driving on the tail of the dragon but I thought I heard that there are a lot of cops and that they will pull you over for any reason (including speeding by 5-10 mph)

I'm looking to spin off the S2K Dragon Event and start our own event. There are some great roads right in this area: Tail of the Dragon, Back of the Dragon (http://backofthedragon.com/) and 421 the Snake (http://www.421thesnake.com/).

I'd love to see us have an Events forum or a Dragon forum so anyone interested can plan a trip down here. Face it, if you don't live in the Southeast then you probably aren't gonna click on this forum to attend. With the S2K Dragon meets we have people from Canada, NY, South Florida etc... show up. It's a big event.

That also gives us some leverage for group rates at Fontana, Marion Hotel and others. I've contacted an Admin about what to do.
