Yep, your TOB is on its' way out. Get it fixed soon.

You can optionally take the opportunity to upgrade the clutch, clutch fork with pivot, and either resurface or replace the flywheel at the same time.

Ugh, this is not a club I want to be a part of. In the 7 years I've had it I've been in the idle dropping and stalling club (literally the day I drove it off the lot), the HPFP crickets club, the condensation in the rear tail lamps club (3 F'n Times!), the coil pack failure club, the valve spring recall club, and now this one. Hooray February '12 build date!
Don't wait. If TOB melts down it takes everything related to it with it.

Make sure you get a new TOB from the dealer and tell them you want the part for a '17+. It is the only place you can get the upgraded unit. Only way to tell is that there will be a white or yellow paint dot on it when you get it.

Very good point!
Make sure it part #SU003-07349 and has the dot like Toast stated. When I had mine done they were originally going to use the old part number which could have started the whole process over again.

I had heard there was a new part. I'll be sure to get that one. Thanks for the part number and dot info.

Hey, sorry to bother you, but do you happen to know the part number for the old TOB? Just want to be armed with the proper information tomorrow when I go in.

Here is the service bulletin. It has the old and new numbers.

So I took it in yesterday, 3 different techs looked at it. They said nothing is wrong and to just see if it gets worse.

Interesting. Was it 4:50pm or something? Noises aren't necessarily something broken, but a good indicator of something happening internally. Hope you don't end up broken down somewhere

Throw out bearing, no doubt. Had issues with mine, opened up and voila...the tob was toast. At some point the clutch pedal got stuck at the bottom. Because I drove with it f..ed as it was, i had to replace the pressure plate too because it worn out the pressure plate legs. As a matter of fact I replaced the whole clutch with a brand new one, even though the clutch disk was still ok with some life left in it.
