If you could please let me know who this person is or was; I'd greatly appreciate it. We have had the vast majority of our customers report back quicker and quicker times utilizing our parts. I have not heard anything from an 86 Cup guy in Colorado going slower beside this post here.
There is no one in Rocky Mountain 86CUP that has competed with Verus aero parts yet. We have only had one weekend so far, as the series is new this year. I can't imagine who that would be, Shoebox.

Thanks Pat.

We'd have a hard time staying in business if our parts hurt people's lap times... and we've been around for 5+ years now.

Anyway, back on topic... we will be closing the pre-order group buy soon so if interested in our current design, please contact us shortly so Clay can give you the details. Sales@verus-engineering.com

We are gauging interest on a 17+ design to see if it warrants making new tooling for that to fully cover the spoiler holes. Please let us know if you're interested in that as well at the same e-mail address above.

Thanks!
Eric

My bad. It was Road Atlanta. Had to look it up.

Verus claiming the car creates lift and you have to consider parts together yet on the TA build, the DF numbers quoted were literally just each part individually added up. You guys manipulate your marketing text as much as you manipulate your CFD when it doesn’t match the wind tunnels lol.

Oh. And you do have wind tunnel testing data to debunk their claims?

I am sorry you do not understand how we present data. Let me try an clarify this.

With the TA build, I will dive into the individual components to make this clear and hopefully it will make sense.

Inputs:
Full car analysis running Fluent

Fz (Lift is positive numbers and Downforce is Negative numbers)
Body = xxxxN (lift)
Wing = -xxxxN (Downforce)
Wheels Front = xxxN (lift)
etc
etc
etc

Total or Net Downforce = Body + Wing + Wheels Front + etc + etc + etc

These values are how total downforce is created. It would be the sum of the components. This would mean adding every component together and if it has a net negative number, it makes downforce. I am unsure how this is manipulative as this is the standard operating procedure. This is also how we have always calculated total downforce or total lift (depending on if it is net negative or positive).

If you can clarify where you think we might be wrong, let us know.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now onto manipulating our CFD when it doesn't match wind tunnels... Can you clarify this claim? As I do the CFD and ran our wind tunnel test, I would be curious. We did not manipulate anything. We have shown the error between CFD and wind tunnel with even different turbulence models. If you could show specifics, that would be greatly appreciated.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now onto slower times and since you looked up the data. Who went slower? When did they go faster without our aero and then when did they go slower with our aero? I would assume this would be readily available as you just looked it up.

We're at roughly 11 interested in 13-16 and 6 in 17+.

If we combined the 13-16 into the 17+ group, we would would have the 10% discount and be very close to the 15% discount (20 people)!

We appreciate all the support on this so far! We are hoping production will be done in about 6-8 weeks! We will do our best to keep everyone updated; Clay is generally on it with e-mails and ensuring everyone is kept up to date. If you have any questions, e-mail is generally best for us.

I'm potentially interested in the product. It was already said in the thread but if it was retooled to cover the 2017+ spoiler holes, it would be the only spoiler that covers them.

As the owner of a 2017, covering the existing holes is the main thing I'm looking for in replacing the factory wing.

Email them! If you let them know you are interested, we will only need a few more facelift owners to get our duckbills!
