Is the fender garnish the same on 2017 cars?

I can't decide. Blue is the 2017 car. Wanna buy some carbon fins and not sure if they'll fit

Yes or no?

I would be willing to be that they will fit. it doesn't make sense for toyota/subaru to change the garnishes to the point of having to rework the fenders. That would be a large cost for something that does nothing.

If you are buying carbon fins and they aren't replacements like the trd, and are the stick on type, they might not fit correctly.
Which ones are you looking at?

Ideally I would like the TRD ones but they're $500+, which is absolutely ridiculous, if you ask me. There seem to be two further price points on ebay. Around $100 and around $200. I take it the $200 are trd quality without the actual "TRD" sticker on them, and the $100 are knock-offs which will likely fit poorly. But if there are other options, let me know. I want the carbon ones though

Most non-trd are stick on overlays that sit higher than the trd versions. I've only seen clip on replica type exactly once, and some guy picked it up in taiwan while on vacation.

And the trd version isn't a sticker, they are indented from the mold.

Please link if you ever find a clip on type at an affordable price.

Well some of those ebay posts are in taiwan so I wonder if that's what it is. I'll keep looking

as long as its a full replacement, they'll all fit from 2013-2017 whether oem frs, oem brz, trd, seibon, rexspeed, etc.

Just get the non-painted TRD ones and put carbon vinyl wrap on them.... or just don't worry about the carbon look and paint them black instead, black looks great.

They're exactly the same. I have authentic TRD's, lined up with no issues at all.

Yes. The carbon TRD are discontinued. I bought the D4S black colored version and they look great!
