If I wanted a car for it's safety features I would of brought myself a Camry loaded with airbags and goes slow enough were I never exceed the speed limit just so I can have a better chance of surviving an accident.

I recommend leaving the bolt on the OEM wheel when you pull. Just slightly on so when you pull (and you will have to pull very hard) it doesn't smack you in the face.

They do make steering wheel removal tools so that this doesn't happen. I used it for my 87 MR2 when I changed out the steering wheel, much nicer and I didn't hit myself in the face :P

thanks for the writeup! I just ordered what I think is the same wheel as you Nardi Deepcorn 350mm, anyways just wondering what hub you are using because you mentioned the adapter which I could possibly need to get. This is my first aftermarket wheel. It looks like you are running the works bell hub which is the one I will be ordering, but are you running a quick release? I can't tell from your picture.

Most good aftermarket steering wheels are aluminum... When the power steering gave out in my '98 Camaro (because stupid idiot designers put the pump right next to the exhaust header) the Sparco Ring wheel I had on it was flexing like crazy....because sticky wide DOT-R rubber.

Need to eventually install my 320mm Momo Monte-Carlo in the FR-S, the thicker wheel and smaller diameter with help with increasing responsiveness (and leg room) and the red stitching would go perfectly in the interior.

If you run a quick release don't worry about the adapter and the works bell hub has a momo style pattern so if you get any wheel with a nardi/sparco pattern you will need a adapter or the quick release which has an adapter built in

Anyone have problems putting a grip royal wheel with a works bell hub and nrg quick release on? I can't get anything to line up right do I need a adapter? Do I rotate the hub over a few teeth? If I do that the clock spring is off and abs and traction lights stay on

Hey man curious if your hub came with that black resistor or if you bought that separately. I just installed my works bell hub and it came with that blue resistor and a normal looking resistor, but not the black one that you have in the picture. thanks
