Lowering compression

So I'm gonna start this off by saying that I live in Bulgaria and I have no access to ethanol. I am planning to turbocharge my 86 with the FBM stage 1 turbo kit with a gtx2867 or a gtx3076R and that's what this post is about. I'm looking to make around 380 - 400 hp and with no access to ethanol I might have to lower the comp to 10 or 10.5 to allow more boost on 100 RON. Do you think I should lower the comp, because LJ did a test on the stock motor with a gtx35 and got to around 500 hp? And if I do, should I go for the GTX3076R?

Boris imho you ask for too much power from a non turbo engine (and RWD light car).
Even ΟΕΜ turbo 2.0L cars have much lower power output although the extensive R&D and strengthened internals!
From personal experience you have some gas stations w/ very good quality gas (some Gazprom I tried were much better than our poor quality 100RON) so may be you should set lower boost and work with 11+:1 or the OEM compression ratio?

PS: By the way where exactly are you from, I have a company established in Blagoevgrad?

I'm from the capital Sofia, but from what I know gas here is much shittier in comparison to Germany or even Russia. And why do you think this is too much power? I mean, I've seen many people on the internet with reliable 450 TC builds. And I haven't seen 11 or 12 pistons. There are 10.5 and 12.5 as far as I know.

If you refer to gas stations say around Nurbgurging yes it's much better than yours but generally speaking and logging my knock correction here and in Bulgaria I can say for sure you have good quality 100RON gas.
I didn't search what pistons are available for your application just saying an opinion as you want to double the factory power with whatever this means!
