Doesn't anybody take responsibility anymore - SMH!

Yesterday afternoon I was bringing my granddaughters back from school. It was a clear afternoon and the roads were dry, light city traffic.

We pulled up next to a middle aged dude driving an silver, older Mustang, that was well cared for. It had badges on the back of it that said "4.7L" and "supercharged". It had a wicked sounding dual exhaust and fancy wheels.

After the light, the cars pulled away, the mustang move over in the lane ahead of us. Then someone in a white van tried to change lanes (into the lane that the mustang was in) and severely clipped the rear quarter panel of the pristine mustang.

The dude in the mustang started to pull over off the street, but the van driver just sped off. The mustang sped after it.

I so much wanted to chase after them just to see what was going to happen, but, since I had my granddaughters in the car, I didn't.

I know damn well the van driver knew he hit the mustang - but just wasn't going to stop.

What the hell is WRONG with people!

A Mustang getting hit by somebody else? Don't hear that one everyday.

ic. given the stupidity of the person I was inclined to believe it was construction related. I've been in the business one way or another for about 12 years and it's pretty consistent.

got to here and knew the answer. No and it's everywhere. any shortcomings, faults or missteps taken by almost anyone will be blamed on someone else by the person at fault or in the wrong. and it gets worse the younger they get.

I'm pretty sure this is due to people never growing up as this is has been a thing with small children for decades.

P.S. I just heard the best quote ever in regards to dating etc.

"If you treat her like a celebrity she's(or he) is going to treat you like a fan.

mah gawd that's so true. it was just something I sorta did in my last few single years without realizing the best way to word it. genius.

p.s.s. you're welcome.

Did I ever mention getting a 'love tap' from a semi a few years back. I read off the plate to the 911 operator but got over it by the time I made it home from work that evening.

I pulled a d!ck move in the first place so I figured if there was ever a time to turn the other cheek, that was it.

Oh, April is a good time to visit Vegas.

I would recommend that you stay here. Nevermind all the broken locks on the rooms doors. Ask for "Tina", in one of the resident apartments, she will show you a good time -
