Yes, thanks for asking Joel! Fresh motor is back from the machine shop and should be going in the car any day now. I'm actually going to be in the DC area over the weekend for an event so I'm going to stop by Pure in Maryland while I'm there to check out their shop and the progress thus far. Here are some pics Brady sent me, I'm gonna have him add to this thread for anyone who's interested.
Debating between driving the car back myself and shipping it. I've heard a lot of horror stories lately when it comes to shipping cars so I'm tempted to make the long drive across the country. Getting it shipped out there was a real PITA, if anyone has a carrier suggestion I'm all ears? My wife is convinced the car will breakdown and not make it all the way home. Might have to do the drive JUST to prove her wrong... Here's the specs on the mild cam we went with. I didn't want a crazy amount of chop. I also ordered that 3.73 ring and pinion for the rear end. Duration at .050": 227/237 113 Lobe Center Angle with a 109.5 Intake Centerline Lift with 1.7 Rocker Arm Ratio: .621"/.604" Last edited by GrabTheWheel; 01-03-2019 at 01:28 AM. |

Build looks awesome, thanks for sharing. What made you go with the 3.73 and not the slightly taller 3.58 rear end?

I used this tremec calculator http://tremec.com/calculadora.php I was able to find a brand new ring and pinion from these guys, no need to hunt for a used rear end. https://www.justdifferentials.com/se...C-STV6&Submit= |

road trip seems like a perfect break-in test pretty sure you'll need a 29 spline flange with that gear BTW. |

Motor is in! Unfortunately there has been a slight setback because of the transmission. Apparently you cannot use an off the shelf magnum XL trans from Tremec with the Vorshlag mounts. You need a magnum XL trans for a GM but with a Ford input shaft. I'm now waiting for another trans...
Here's what went into the motor. Cam, Push Rods, Timing Set, Cam bolts, Clean and Deck Heads, Pressure Test Heads, Modify Oil returns Comp Cams High Revving Shaft Mounted Rocker Upgrade Diamond Pistons, Callies Rods, King Racing Coated Bearings, Head Gaskets, Timing Gasket, ARP head Studs, Main Studs Deck block, hot tank, polish crank, bore and hone for new pistons |

Exhaust looks pretty awesome! Things are coming together... Debating whether or not to add an Accusump setup. If anyone on here has experience with one let me know. |

I've been in talks with Brady about Pure buying some of the recessed clutch master cylinder mounts I designed, but I get a reply from him about once every other week, he must be busy with your car!
