Took the car.....

to work today. You forget how much fun this car is to drive. Shortest hibernation since I started parking it for the winter. 4 days until Supra release. STI still the front runner for Benz replacement.

Yep, right there with you.
I have the truck in the shop for a few days so perfect weather to take the car out. Even with a blown shock (not for long), it's still a hoot to drive.

LOl! I drove by today and saw the red rocket parked outside. Giggled like a school girl.

Toyota called me and they offered the same payment on 2018 model of the Scion or better say Toyota 86 before my lease end. I still have 13 months on my current 2015 FRS . Should I do it ?

Depends on what you planned to do at the end of your lease, and whether you want to continue to rent your car.

Sure, I can do that as long as I drive it......now I wonder if my coilovers and Summer wheels on the current one would just fit and work on the new one if I get it.

Parts will fit unless you go with a big brake kit depending on summer wheels.

Stinger GT

Took a stinger GT for a test drive yesterday. Nice looking car, drove well. Sport mode was fast. Lots of extra tech. I have come to realize I am a bit snookered. The car was not loud enough, felt big, not engaging at all, not offered in stick. I literally felt no emotion when I was driving the car. The Stinger is off the list. Next up WRX STI. Hoping for a better result. The FRS is severely clouding my decision making ability.

Heading to the Auto show tomorrow to try some on. I still get a big smile on my face when sitting in a brz/frs/86 at the show. Corvette feels amazing too.

Good to know. I was wondering if I should consider the Stinger as a DD and this satisfies my curiosity. @Pbrown have you considered the Golf R? I'm keeping my BRZ as a track car only but I'm dumping my BMW 128i for the Golf R. Good luck with the STI test drive!

Believe it or not. NO Toyota 86 at the show. Love the wing on the BRZ though. Andre is down there too.

Top Gear UK did a review of the Stinger GT in their last episode. I think underwhelmed pretty much described the impression. Nice looking car though.
