I want to but it's low on my priority list at the moment >.< Still need to plan around the Greddy turbo kit (possible fuel pump, injectors, clutch and upgraded axles) and the aero (wing, splitters and proper diffuser)...

What have I gotten myself into... LOL
:p

Well my fastest recorded lap was a 1:52.0 but I didn't find out my transponder had stopped working until after my fastest session was over >.< I was driving with sport traction control on all day as well (given my penchant for spinning out I figured maybe its best to make sure I didn't spin into a wall there).
/excuse mode off

Had a lot of fun there tho, can't wait to go back now that I have my line figured out with this car now!

I saw you ran a 1:49 or so?

I just wanted to know for comparison. A 1:49.7 was my fastest but it was always my first timed lap even with little bobbles/traffic here and there. The hot intake air and oil temp pulled a lot of power out of the car for the uphill part of the track on the remaining laps of each session. I wanted to see if you had these problems with the robi spec rad setup. Bringing the oil temps down is a priority but I think the ecu will still cut power if the IAT is too high. I think the car could have pulled a 1:48.x if the ecu didn't cut power.

PS. good call on sport mode. I did all my runs in diag. mode (nothing but ABS) and yeah, if you're not ready for a downhill 75 mph rear slide through 9 I wouldn't suggest it. Even I had a moment where I was at steering lock in 9 but I kept my foot in it and rode it out. I have video of it. Even though I pulled it I was in oh'shit mode for the first 50% of the slide.

Ahh nice! Regarding the Robispec cooler/rad, I didn't feel like the car was cutting power but coming out of turn 5, the car's overall lack of power really does show itself. But the car felt pretty consistent through most of the day. I ran at SoW last week as well in 100+ ambient heat at the track and I didn't see my oil temps break 225. I think the cooler is doing its job well

Finally got my TOM's LED Tail Lamps installed thanks to Evasive! The ones I purchased were the true JDM ones so some of the wiring had to be redone but Evasive handled it all on the tail lamp side so the car's wiring harness will still work if I ever decide to go with a USDM set of lights again. Overall really happy with the look though. I was a little afraid it would be too much red on red but I like that the tail lamps are a darker almost smoky color.

And while I was there, I got a few other odds and ends installed and serviced including a Braille Lightweight Battery kit (via FT-86 Speed Factory), the rear ARP extended studs, Perrin Polyurethane Exhaust Hangers and an oil change with a Greddy sport oil filter.

(My apologies on the state of my engine bay :P As you can see I've been testing the BRZ's off road capabilities at the track from time to time... T_T)

I also have one more box to unpack tonight...
