I honestly thought the rasp was due to my headers in combination with the super charger. As though they were just a bad match and not well suited.
Are you guys running without cats? There's a pretty good amount of rasp from just going catless I've found.

I've still got one cat (high flow in my nameless overpipe/downpipe combo), no cat in the nameless header. This rasp was definitely tune related though, and probably 95% gone now.

Like @xjohnx I too have only one cat. It's on the Nameless downpipe, my PPE headers include their own overpipe but are catless. I would definitely like to mitigate the rasp as much as possible as it is one of two issues that have kept me from truly loving my super charger upgrade. The other being that the long tubes on the headers rattle. I believe @whataboutbob encountered the same thing as well.

The current kit uses a 210 already. So, to me at least, 210+ implies that it uses the same blower. Would Sprintex make a bigger blower and name it the same as a smaller one? I wouldn't believe so..
AFAIK the 210+ is the 210 but with a coating on the screws allowing for more compression per RPM.

You forgot to take me for a ride after C&C today so I could record a usable video.

I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.

But it does sound good with the axle-back back on there.

Two data logs, top one is with the Nameless intake pipe, not coated, and the bottom is with the Innovate. Not an apples to apples comparison but still some info none the less. On the day I did the drive with the Nameless intake pipe it was between 70-75 degrees F outside. My average IAT was around 90 degrees F. On the drive I did tonight with the Innovate intake pipe the average IAT was about 95 degrees F but the outside temperature was around 85-88 degrees F. So about 15 degrees hotter outside but intake air temps only went up 5 degrees. I really need to do a run with the Nameless intake when the outside temps are hotter or with the Innovate intake when the temps are cooler to get a better comparison but I think this shows a bit that the Nameless intake, uncoated, does make for hotter intake air temps than the Innovate. Kind of a "well duh" but whatever.

Thanks for that. I'm interested to see how much their thermal coating helps. In the mean time I've wrapped my Innovate pipe with reflect-a-gold. I wish they'd make a heat shield for the header, too. Seems like it would be relatively easy for @Jason@Nameless and his crew to fab up a piece of metal similar to their intake manifold cover, and secure it to one of the holes in the radiator support.

Is there any way you can place a metal (aluminum) heat shield directly above the headers (not touching)? If you could do this you would reflect a majority of the heat off the headers and away from the intake. Might help quite a bit especially when in power and making heat. Maybe even see if Nameless would make an "upgrade" that would allow people to add in a heat shield.

Cheers,

That's what I'm looking to do. I know @Slip Angle had one made Fortune Auto, but when I inquired about them they said they don't make them.

In the mean time, enjoy some videos from 8.59.
