I'm just wondering how they follow up their R&D without Dyno number fro each version of their header through R&d process. Maybe they use Maf reading. I'm just curious.

The guy did have a very valid point, and he hasn't been the only one to say it

The dyno charts keep getting put off.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe, just maybe, the numbers aren't so great and they are toying around hard with tune configs trying to make them better.

I'm sure they have plenty of plots, but they may not want to give away all the research they did to make it easier for the next company to come along......

As for the final version dyno's, I certainly hope they release those before they start shipping, since i have already paid and all

i don't know how custom the tune was or conditions but one member on here with a prototype header has 190whp/154tq.

We'll see. the only dyno i've seen was supposedly un-tuned and looked pretty nice. Not sure why they didn't release more info on the numbers since you can't reverse engineer a header from a graph.

Guess what?! They already know that the people want to see. Eventually the dyno chart will get posted. A couple of pages back a rep from Nameless already stated that the header is responding very well to tuning maybe?

Lol, when you tune something for the most part the end result is better.

Edit: I fixed your post for ya.
I'm starting to wonder if maybe, just maybe, the numbers are great and they are further perfecting the tune to demonstrate the full potential.

The dyno from 5 months ago (i think) was definately tuned, catless, and using a 3" exhaust(pretty much everything you can do to bolster the numbers.) Their tuner was complaining that his tune was suffering from a regression.

They posted on the midwest board that dynos would be coming on the 31'st when they released the header, but still nothing.

Guess what?! You're a **** swinger.

If it makes you happy more power to you.

Some of us would rather know details before handing a company cash though. Theres far too many business out there that promise the world but deliver little more than a trailer park in alabama.

The point being argued by myself and a few others is theres no goddamn way dyno results don't exist at this point. Not having them out there with the product purchasable, after this much hype and this long a development cycle. Thats shady.

Exactly what I meant, thanks for your input.

Shouldn't you have dyno every evolution of this header to back up your R&D?
Or what tool do they use to validate each step of their super long r&d?
I'm a bit sceptical now after so many month I would have expect a launch with at least a Dyno.

Trust me, I want to have the numbers back as badly as all of you do, keep in mind that I will have one of these on my car as well.

Here's the scoop.

The header is down at our tuner, where it has been since the day after Christmas. We also took down a whole bevy of exhaust configurations in order to get a wide range of numbers to observe. We will have baseline data, header only data, and tuned data for several of our configurations. As far as I know, he is using this opportunity to test the new Motec M1 while working with the header as well.

We hope to have some numbers back this week, even if it isn't the final conglomerate of information that we will have when the testing is completed.

Every prototype of the header has been tested, both on the road and at the dyno, that is how we have arrived at the production version we have now. It is a product of many trials and errors in order to bring you guys the best that we have to offer. If it had turned out that we were not happy with this design, we would have scrapped it and redesigned long before we made it available for purchase.

Stay tuned for more updates.

@Hawaiian the only ones I've seen are from the original prototype on the first page.... Something like 188whp/160tq.

I would hope with all the changes and tuning it would be better but who knows.

Yes, and that was absolutely un-tuned. That car is still not tuned.

I think Nameless didn't want to release their previous dyno charts because it raises an uproar when you don't have dedicated stock baselines and one variable change dyno charts all from the same day, same dyno. It's smart to release the charts using the scientific formula, but that takes a little more time and effort than iterative testing does, due to the need to re-baseline for customer numbers.
