Works surprisingly well on the BRZ though at least in this lighting. If I were in the market for a BRZ and this color were offered it'd be among my top for consideration (never thought I'd say that for silver). But then I'd need neon flourescent lights following me everywhere.

Yeah I hate plain silver but I'm a sucker for the ice blue metallic color. They offered something similar on the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Arctic edition and I was sad I couldn't get the Rubicon in that color.

Yerp. The Ice Silver is sick. It replaced the Spark/Steel Silvers. If you look at the Forester Concept that was under the blue lights, it changes that color substantially as well.

I see this BRZ being released to the JDM as an A-Line model like the current GR STi A-Line that is offered with a 5EAT and beige interior.

You would need to rig up some kind of lighting kit to hover over the car everywhere you drive to keep it looking like that. 90% of the interest in that color is from the lighting.

I just googled "Subaru ice silver" and all I can is I am very disappointed in the pictures I found.

no need to hold your breath on this one folks. nothing really to see...other then blue track lights.

It's really one of those colors that you need to see in person to judge.

If you like silver in any way, you will be drawn to it.

If you are meh about silver, you will not be impressed.

It's a really crisp, clean silver that pops in just about every light. It is much more brilliant than the previous model year silver offerings.

This is the kind of color that I would expect to see on upper class german or italian cars.

For the BRZ/FR-S, Prolly not. It's possible but not probable. Subaru does have a tendancy to change colors quickly but not within one model year.

The Ice Silver color is currently available in the whole Subaru model line-up:
Legacy
Outback
Impreza, Sport, XV, WRX/STi
Tribeca

I could see them adding this rather than replacing the current Sterling/Argento Silver.
