Yes you can . With the avo blow off valve in option you have the choice to vent into the atmosphere or recirculate the air in the intake system .

Test drove the AVO frs today, thanks to Paul at the NW drift event set up by @Drift-Office.

The power feels very linear, I didn't even hear the turbo spooling, so it really just feels like a more powerful engine that is set up to be a great DD. I didn't feel any obvious turbo lag, but they are using a smaller turbo, which would explain that.

AVO definitely have their game together and I think this will be a great FI option. For the price it cannot be beat.

Personally, I was hung up between vortech and AVO, but after driving the AVO, I feel confident I would go with them. They are a big company with great history and a local presence.

I'm a little sad when you said you didnt even hear the turbo spooling....

It is part of the fun factor to drive a turbo car when you can hear the turbo spooling, the air pressure going thru the piping and the blow of valve of course.. It makes the car feel more alive.

If it is too quiet inside something will be missing. It is a sport car not a buick after all.
If somebody dont want noise dont get a sport car.

At least, special thanks to the UEL headers to give that agressive subaru sound outside the car..

To each his own. I hate the sound of blow off valves and turbo's spooling. The last two cars I have owned have been turbo charged though.

I'm a "ricer" -if you will- when it comes to turbo sounds, I like them to be noisy. what AVO has developed is something that behaves like a factory car which is GREAT so it's not noisy.

you can still make that turbo sound like you want by venting to the atmo.

The AVO car is still running the stock intake box and a panel filter as well as the secondary cat. An intake will make it much louder.

Paul can you tell us whether the Crawford AOS, which bolts up to a location right in the middle of the firewall behind the factory strut tower bars, will fit with the AVO kit?

The photos of AVO's car have what appears to be a catch-can or other product in that location and I recall the car at SEMA having something there as well. I just want to make sure I have a catch can that will work with your kit, because if the Crawford AOS doesn't fit, I'd like to line up another part like the D3 that mounts near the battery.

That should fit no problem. There is no part of the kit that goes back there.

I have been sold for quite a while, but I just got 'MORE' sold (if it is even possible).

LOVE IT!
