I can't just bring my tires. They're mounted to my wheels.

To my knowledge, there will be no tire machines or anything available to re-mount tires. You will have to bring additional rims and tires.

Sounds like a business opportunity right there, haha. Anyone got a tire machine and an open schedule on july 10th? XD

But white and blue go really well together, I mean I could see your concern if it were a red or orange car, but if anything you could use some subtle blue accents.

You know, that's a good point.

Drivers.... start your engines....

And start visualizing your lines... (just kidding... the Lead Car will take the pack through the best lines)

Something to consider.... try contacting the local "Hooked-on-Driving" organization and see what it would take to form-up and schedule an "86-only" HPDE event in 2017!! Maybe between PIR and The Ridge, something could be setup given the number of 86s in the area.

Just FYI (and NOT to be construed as any endorsement of Hooked-on-Driving NW) -- if you are interested in some general information on "first time out on a track", check out this section of their website. (Keep in mind that many of the "requirements" do not pertain to the "Lead/Follow" track time for the 86 event. )

You're right, I saw the pictures and the white highlights really make the build.

"I'm all out!" (After registering)

...............said the old guy

Two reasons
1. No Track Insurance of any kind available
2. First sentence of the track waiver everyone will be required to sign states: "In consideration of being permitted in RACING PROGRAMS, ......"

My insurance company would drop me in an instant if I were involved in any type of accident while participating in this event. I have conferred with them.

Can I sell my spot?

I'd be more worried about getting attacked by a wild animal in the middle of downtown Portland than getting into an accident on this track event which will have a pace car going slow and everyone taking their time going around a track. This will be the safest you'll ever be in a car that's moving, so I really wouldn't worry at all.
