Tire Rack now carries the BBS RF, but only the 18" models.
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...ted&tab=wheels The BBS RF also showed up on the BBS USA website. Only 18" though. Maybe if it is popular enough they will consider adding the 17" wheel as well. Although at these prices, I won't hold my breath. |

UPDATE! The BBS USA website now lists the 17x7.5 model (RF 504). MSRP is $515. Now I just need to wait for TireRack to make them available.

TireRack now has the 17x7.5 BBS RF listed as "special order". $515 each, 14.3 lbs. Time to start saving.

I'm still waiting... TireRack said they have to wait for BBS Japan to make more. Apparently BBS ran out of stock. Hopefully it is just a few more weeks. At least I'll get some freshly-forged wheels
Did you order from TireRack? |

Damn. I really wanted these but just didn't want to wait that long, as I saw they were back ordered. Then I found a set of ce28n's for sale and got those instead |

A day after I ordered the status went from "special order" to "back order". ce28n's are a good alternative though. They are so classic. I considered them too.

Did you ever get these or are they still backordered? If you got them, can you feel the difference between stock wheels? Obviously if you change the tires at the same time, it would probably be hard to pinpoint the differences from the wheels though...

Still backordered... Estimate went from 2 weeks, to 8 weeks, to July, to August, and now October. I'm thinking of cancelling now. This is getting out of hand.
