Hi All,

The rear diff bushing and or a insert kit are just about to be released so keep an eye out on our website or facebook page they are finished we are just waiting on the new stock to arrive and inspect it and we will launch then into the market . These will be a great upgrade to get rid of the diff movement seen in this video and give better driveline feel.

A lot of sports cars are that way. Seems like the factory engineers are afraid of offending someone and go right to the soft rubber stuff so that you won't feel or hear anything.

Comments on your torque values versus the values I pulled from the FR-S service manual?

I agree that there is a lot of movement but what are the consequences of this movement? What benefits would be had by limiting it's movement?

The movement serves a few purposes: provide ride comfort and removes stress from the drivetrain. However your engine and gearbox has to exert a measurable amount of energy overcoming this movement to send power to the rear wheels.

Limiting this movement means improved efficiency: pressing the throttle to forward movement comes faster. This next statement could be argued: more efficiency means improved gas mileage.

You may introduce NVH, and add stress to the gears in the differential. It may not much but there comes a point where we add too much stiffness in the suspension; we might as well weld everything together.

if NVH is at all a concern then you really have to ask why youre considering even doing these mods. the stock setup is fine for most daily drivers, dunno how much you benefit some of this stuff aside from bling and brag factors.

If you have never diven a car a urethane bushing treatment and a true suspension upgrade, they are supposed to ride considerably firmer, and 'noisier' than stock

Persoanlly I got more NVH outta the tranny insert than I think I got out of the xmember bushings but together yes, there s more NVH , I love both..

I dont mind it at all, it tracks better, corners better and provided better feedback at the limits.

Limiting the caster movement can translate in to better handling, at the limits as well.
