Too many high speed trips to the coffee shop. Lol

I hope it's covered under warranty.

Is this the same whining you demonstrated the other day?

Wow, grand total of $11,224! Actually, not bad for a whole season of racing, like we said way back, racing is not cheap. Autox is about as cheap as it gets, heck, I've seen karters spend about as much in a season (gokart, tires, fuel, etc), and they can't DD their gokarts .

Yep, I figured it was the tranny, sounded like my old civic when I'm going in reverse, lol. Surprised it made the whinning at neutral also, I remember trying to get it to coast on neutral and didn't hear it. Did they say specifically say what was wrong with it?

@Blaine - That's not bad $$ spent on your DD and autox'er. I was expecting more.
@JackSmiley - was that noise there at Sonic when I drove it? Trying to recall if I heard it.

$$$$$!

Bravo sir. That's still far less than you'd have spent if you had gone to track days all year long. Because you certainly could have done all the things you've done to your car and as you noted, then you would still add more money on top of that to help on the braking, cooling, etc. But it is still hard to compare them because you could do far more/far less depending on your own inclination. For instance I managed to do 3 track days in the last 10 months but have spent far less on modifications. You don't "need" KWs or race tires or whatnot... plenty of people including myself have done autox/track days on basically a stock car and still had a blast. But interested to see what CSG Mike comes up with in comparison anyways.

What you're saying it true, but I decided to mod for STX instead of stock prep which is pretty much just koni dampers, FSB, and tires. You can have a cheap AutoX build also. It was mostly to compare what it costs to run a track car vs run and autoX car.

This is why I haven't touch my motor yet, not even a tune. This car is too new to know the car/motor, and apparently too new to know who the proper tuners are and who aren't.
