The kit was close to production, but not production. They are still playing with some mounting, notably the coolant lines and some fuel line mounting points. e.g. the mounting tab/horn shown on the driver's side of the bay closest to the front of the vehicle - this was threaded but due to some issues, won't be used anymore, it will be removed in production.
The intake housing was made to look like the powdercoated aluminum manifold, but its actually plastic. Fitting a strut tower bar will be nigh impossible. The exchanger was silver (a lot of other kits are blacked out) and yes, very close to the radiator - you could hardly even tell it was there. They mentioned a release to be coming within the next 2 weeks, but I believe that was limited only to pricing. When pressed on pricing, they mentioned south of 6k but likely north of 5k. Guess we'll see in a couple weeks... They made the kit to be modular for future updates. What/when/if, all unclear at this point. However, there are 3-4 different pulleys that are smaller diameter with smaller pulleys that would increase a couple psi between them to get to roughly 20psi. You would undo the 4 bolts holding the wheel on, install the new wheel and belt, and be on your way. Although, if you do so, you would void the warranty on the kit (maybe the unit as well) since in the production version there will be a sticker to never remove those bolts or you will void the warranty. They reinforced where the extra pulley for the kit is, and where it mounts at the alternator. Something about 60-80 lbs of extra downward force at WOT and wanting to beef up that area. They haven't tested with E85 yet, everything has been CARB testing so far. Installation mentioned removing the AC condenser. I forget the exact name of the part it taps into, but they made their own fitting for where the fuel goes into the solenoid or something? I can't remember exactly, but its on the driver's side, lol. Weight was roughly 60 lbs. No color options right now, black/red powdercoat on the top is currently the only planned option. K&N filter was in there. (today at least) Again, no cutting of anything. Bolt on install. Another pic (coming soon)

Wow.... that is probably the best looking setup for this car. Clean and the tvs 1320 leaves a lot of room to grow. Who will be the first vendor for this?

Thanks for the info. If ecutek(license, tune, and cable) is included for under 6k it's not a bad deal. Nobody else offers that kind of warranty either that I am aware of.
I noticed something today when looking at the new Lotus Evora 400. It uses an edelbrock supercharger also. If it's good enough for them I think it should be good enough for us. |

Kit looks promising, looks like I'll have to choose between this or the JRSC in the future.

Thanks for the pics and info guys. The attention to detail is very impressive, it looks very OEM (aside from the red).
I'm not sure what you mean about the warranty though. If you had 20k miles, and owned the car for 2 years before installing the kit does that mean: A) you are covered to 56k miles, and 5 years of owning the car B) you are covered to 56k miles and 3 years of owning the car C) you are covered to 36k miles and 5 years of owning the car D) you are covered to 36k miles and 3 years of owning the car (factory warranty) It's definitely a cool proposition, and may help to convince some people to take this over the alternatives when the company is backing their product firmly enough to offer you engine warranty. |

It looks like their warranty is specific to them and not the factory warranty. For example, you have the sc installed at 10,000 miles on 8/1/15 from their dealers. Any damages caused by the install or the sc will be covered from 10,000 to 46,000 miles or until 8/1/18. |

Bummer, my factory warranty expires today which means I'm not eligible. Car needs to be less than 3 years old and less than 36k at the time of supercharger install.
