But how it's fitment wise with old inlet tube? Can just airbox be swapped or inlet tube needs to be replaced too? Is airbox/tube connection same size/same place as well?

It works, but its not optimal. The MY17 airbox has the MAF location offset about .5" more to the drivers side of a LHD model. So it pulls the inlet tube slightly to the side. Any MY17 inlet corrects this.

People run the MY13 intake box and tube on MY17+ to fit oil coolers. No reason the reverse doesnt work

Anyone by chance not having quick touch-up generic tune changes for MAF scaling for old stock vs new stock OFT OTS tunes without going all the way of proper rescaling?

newer restyling stock tunes have around 4-5% higher scaling, but I actually watched long time ago and blurry memories
but they also count for different intake manifold, different exhaust header and they also have a bit of a different lambda scaling
if you are going to modify a tune you just better do things good, do a log and rescale with the maf scaling tool
