I'm planning something similar...except mine will flash 6x and then stay on solid when the brakes are pressed. Similar to the Super GT race cars in japan.

That's probably a good option for the manual drivers. There is another thread where someone has pulled this apart and its basically already a rocker switch. Unfortunately in the AT, this is already taken up with the "Sport/Snow" rocker.

I'd be interested in something like this. I need to get all the knuckleheads tailgating me on the highway to realize I'm slowing down!

This car DOES come with a third tail/break light... unless you mean you have Woody and his Toy Story buddies tailing you who can't see the one in your rear window, then carry on.

I'd be interested in connecting this directly to the front fog light switch and just have them work together.

True but the third light doesn't flash at them to get their attention. I need flashing and if it could come with an air horn as well that'd be spectacular.

not at all...my mech said the whole unit that his making won't be expensive...hasnt told me a price yet...but i should get something from him by this week...

also he told me that if you guys wanted to send your back piece he could make it that same day AND ship it out that day so it would only take 1 actual day to make then shipped back to your house for a cheaper price!! BUT AGAIN I don't know the price's yet lol

I'll keep everyone updated!

Wondering how difficult it will be to install the switch and associated wiring.

good Idea! but as what the other member was saying the AT have that switch taken already....say you have the unit you'll have one with or with out a switch...the people that order it with the switch could basically put it any where they like.

Like for us my BRZ doesn't have the Limited package so were going to put it where the Heated seat controllers are....

I hate people that drive with their rear facing fogs on at night, it is actually brighter than brake lights and very aggravating to follow someone with that on,

it is a very ricer/stupid thing to do , please think about the cars you share the road with before driving around intentionally blinding whoever is behind you

i agree with you 100% but if you didn't notice on this car....its like a very small go cart! my gf has a 2013 hyundai tucson and the brothers drive eve's and they've driven behind me and a few of them said they really couldn't see it when they stopped behind me....also i'm using my phone camera to take these pics and video....its not even that bright where the people behind you are "OMG THATS SO ANNOYING!" he installed it with a factory bulb...if we did it with an LED bulb then thats a different story....so when you say BLINDING someone thats saying WHY DID THE INVENT LED FACTORY LIGHTS ON FACTORY CARS....I don't know about you...but those AUDI FRONT and REAR LED running lights are MORE BLINDING then the fog light that we installed...lol just saying...there are times where I had to put my window visor down lol
