Exclamation Is my BRZ being targeted?

Hi everyone! So I think my car might be targeted somehow. I'm not sure what exact reason it might be. I usually lock my car, which is so strange how this person opened it like he knew? He opened the glove box, took out everything and scattered everything on the floor. It didn't seem like he took anything. 40 minutes after the person left, a white 9th gen corolla drove by, stopped and flashed a flashlight at my car. Anyways, this person might be targeting frs/brz or maybe other sports cars or any car in general, so watch out for these people.

Edit: So nevermind the last part with the corolla, it probably is one of those city patrol cars.

Yeah some petty thieves (kids) go around checking for unlock doors. Usually they scout around first then come back later to steal whatever they can find in any unlocked car. So no matter what even a safe neighborhood can be targeted by thieves. Not to sure what that corolla was up to, maybe taking note to check your car next time.

Anyway, lucky for you they didn't steal anything really valuable (hopefully), just remember to lock your doors and get an alarm system. Having an alarm system would be one of the first things I have installed since there's no alarm system for the FRS and premium BRZ (correct me if I'm wrong).

It's a FineVu CR-300HD. If you go to my YouTube channel from the video I posted, I have some uploaded.

I don't know. What would he possibly put inside? A tracker?

I'm glad he didn't open the trunk. A purse and backpack were inside. Definitely learned my lesson. I've always thought my neighborhood was super safe.

Alot of "soft" thieves will go and look for unlocked door for anything. If the doors are locked they won't bother and move on to the next. Just lock your doors. Whoever is around wouldn't suspect anything since they aren't breaking glass / prying shit out.
