I may have to order another one; but I forgot if this Screw Plate comes in the "adapter" package or if it comes with the mirror.
(Is there a part number JUST for that plate or do I have to order in the whole package?)

Does anyone have a picture of theirs so I can compare?

The piece is letter "I" (Screw Plate) in the diagram.

Thanks in advance!
mine is the same! what did you do? im thinking a longer bolt will do the trick..

Yeah, you over tightened it. You could use a bigger diameter screw...make sure it's not LONGER, otherwise it will go right through and hit the windshield.

I ended up getting the "Adapter kit" and it came with the plate and everything. Put it all back together but being careful not to over-tighten it; no more rattles!

Where is the fuse for the connector on the harness? I went to hard wire a radar detector to this connector but there is no power going to it. Where is the fuse located and what do they call it?

Note that the connector is not powered unless ignition is ON.
Not sure if that's the issue but thought I'd suggest it.

It is confirmed that this will fit in the US/Canadian FR-S as well.

I bought two, one for me and one for another FR-S owner.

Installation Tip: DO NOT over tighten the aluminum screw plate... It is a self-tapping plate so it will never "tighten" ... If you strip the thing, you will need to get a whole new adapter set.

Cheers,
David

Oooo one thing I missed in this car was the homelink and auto dimming mirrors because of people with improper HID kits haha I may have to consider getting this.

So the harness for the mirrior is there too? I didn't expect that. Especially since there seems to not be a harness for anything else, like the door lights, or foglights...etc.

Yup, harness and port is up in the headliner ready for installation. Plug & Play.
