painted them with Signal Red hobby pot paint (normal enamel paint) had done this on my MR2 aswell, always used to use engine enamel heat resistant paint, but i always had to redo it almost every 3 months as they burnt and started peeling, with the brush painted enamel ive never had problems

Looks great! Maybe paint calipers red? I think it needs something on the fenders or doors to match rear graphics.

@ZakD
Drop the suspension add a big ass wing and possibly make the fender ducts red as the front looks too bland.

Taking this is a show car, the red in the wheels OK, but maybe a plastidip black would make the car look more aggressive. Plastidip is amazing and strong, wont peal from brake heat.

Very true about the matte black - saw it on a Ford Sierra recently - quote possibly the most uncool car to have in that colour!

+1 for Plastidipping wheels black - maybe even try and do the tailpieces aswell as an experiment. Suspension drop will also look good - not too low though.

It needs a wing!!! badly!!!

Yep, the wheels look 1000% better. I really didn't like the temp wheels.
Matt black - mmm, not my personal preference, but quite eye-catching.

Just for interest's sake, here's a pic of Imperial Nelspruit's demo 86.
Very eye-catching on the road, and a totally different take with the same intent...

Thanks guys for your critical feedback. I actually need to mention you on our blog for the help.
@Ryan86 Will definitely look into the plastidip, and that Imperial 86 is actually done very creatively (Can see Imperial's participation in motorsport influence)

Thing is I know lots can still be done, but strictly speaking this is not just a showpiece, we actually need to sell the car, so cost is an issue. But let's see, public response has been awesome so far.

By the way here's a short story of the car, and pics. Will add the forum mention tomorrow.

While you on the topic of plasti dip maybe spray the wheel nuts black and laminx the side indicator light black so it goes with the colour of the car better and a drop. Why not also just put TRD spoiler on and wrap it in carbon fibre.
I wrapped mine and sprayed a clear coat over it.

@Adam86 CF vinyl with a clear coat, looks very good, always thought the spray would cause the vinyl to lift.
Well done nice job.
