Article-Twins as the "New" Miata - RACING

I just read an interesting article about the feasibility of the twins and successive iterations becoming as popular for racing builds as the Miata. Some interesting points, history, and tidbits throughout.

The article does make mention of a Toyota-sponsored team competing in the Pirelli World Challenge and also has a quick blurb about 86CUP, but I wish they had gone more in detail into the privateers (Tony Rivera, et al.) who entered PWC in FRS and BRZ cars, and much more about 86CUP. They could have also mentioned Michele Abbate and how successful she was sporting an FRS on the track...

I don’t want to spoil things but there’s another T4 build coming up. So that’s gonna be fun.

I agree with the article. It’s a good car for it especially since its a coupe and now that the costs are coming down the barrier to entry makes it a great candidate for motorsport.

I read the same article and am intrigued. Considering building one this next year. But being unfamiliar with these cars, will lurk here for a while to learn more about prepping one for track duty.
