^ truly a worthless statement if the "new" suspension takes away from the car.

no offense or insult intended.

I like the FR-S and BRZ the first year they came out, in fact I like it so much I purchased one. I was started to have MAJOR buyers remorse about 1-2months after the purchase. This was because the next year was going to be so much better... It was amazing all of the rumors that were out there. We were going to get a 2.5 liter displacement and then the turbo and some other option I forget. Yeah, unfortunately there have been some, shall I say, hmm not so accurate statements. I am glad I learned this fairly young. Really what a disappointment thanks to those people. They kind of ruined the enjoyment for some of us, to a certain degree, to a certain degree. I am glad I bought when I did, compared to what has actually been produced to what people said we were going to get.

I'm gonna be interested in the black dash panel, someone keep us updated on the availability. Also, what is the difference of the two parts STD and HI?

Only a bit though.
I have a feeling the Crystal will look better in the day, but the SWP will look better at night.

I think you meant Monogram = all other FR-S models. ETA: I'm beginning to suspect that the 13 base model FR-S/BRZ will be known as the best version ten years from know. Regardless of what they do, I'm keeping mine. I wonder if Scion hired some Apple marketing dudes? "What's so different or better about this one?" "Uhh, it's NEW! All your friends will have one!" "Shiny! Gimme!"

Official: 2015 Scion FR-S Gets Shark-Fin Antenna, Minor Suspension, Cosmetic ...

90% of the guys on this forum really should go in for a colonoscopy because your asses are tighter than a circus peanut. Updates? The wrong updates, not enough updates. It's the fucking same. What does that mean? It means the first generation FRS is going to last at least three years. How is that not in line with almost any other car out there? I can't wait for when the body styling updates come out and then this forum shits its collective brick.

Sorry I'm a bartender. Just got off work, end of rant./

I guess they're 86mm but they don't stick out past the bumper.

I want those tips! Part # plox.

I'm going to guess it's these bolts that firm up the steering rack.

These are the bolts to stiffen up/ reinforce the rack. Basically the bolt threads all the way in and goes through a spacer on the other side of the subframe.

Here are some sites that helped describe all of this:

I had a conversation w/ one of the 86 Chief Engineer's close friends a few months back at an autox event. He was speculating the suspension would be revised (turns out he was correct) incorporating improvements from the BRZ STi tS (which makes cost effective sense).

86mm is where it counts

I'm not sure it was a weird choice because by default most 86/BRZs with the higher spec interior come with a spoiler. I don't think a single GT86 comes without one and even here a BRZ Limited/Sport-tech will come with a spoiler from the factory. Since the Monogram is a Scion its the only car to come with the Scion spoiler as standard.

Of course, I'd prefer if they leave the spoiler as a optional extra. I find the car looks far better without a spoiler. The Scion spoiler isn't the worst as its only on some angles it doesn't look great overall its subtle enough to not stick out like a sore thumb, I prefer it over the GT86's or BRZ's spoiler.

If I was making a guess, I would say the springs + dampeners will make the difference. Not the steering bolts.

The good thing about them basically keeping most everything the same is that means factory parts will be less scarce. Less chance of them discontinuing crap like wheels, floormats interior trim etc after 5 years.
