Groupbuy Toyota 86 VIC
If you are planning on buying a Toyota 86 in Victoria (and haven't already pre-ordered), Australia I'm putting together a groupbuy which I have already discussed with a dealership in Melbourne.
Basically how it works is we will be utilizing out group purchasing power to gain a 'better deal' over the RRP either in the form of a discount off the List Price or some extra options. Essentially if we can put in orders through the same dealership under a single groupbuy we will be able to get a better deal (which is better than buying yourself and not getting anything). What the 'better deal' is can't be confirmed until prices are released unfortunately but it is something that the dealership has worked out is definitely feasible and they're willing to give us all a better deal. Anyone interested please contact me for more information or visit http://ozft86.com.au/forums/threads/...c.47/#post-213 Last edited by tlp; 04-20-2012 at 03:12 AM. |

That's what I'm hoping. Just a handful of orders under the 'groupbuy' will be able to net us some nice extras hopefully. Now it just depends on how many people want one but haven't yet ordered.

If by some strange chance you go with the Melton Toyota, I'll get in on it. It's where my car is currently preordered.

It doesn't work if you've already pre-ordered unfortunately. It's for new orders as it provides no benefit to a dealership if you've already place a pre-order.

I was referring to the groupbuy. The groupbuy I'm conducting is not with Melton Toyota.
Will edit my post to avoid confusion. |

No detail on prices but 43k driveaway is what the dealership is suggesting will be the price of the GTS (High Spec).
We will be organising a meet in conjunction with the Toyota Dealer once the car comes out. Jump on www.ozft86.com.au/forums to keep updated. Pre-order is the best way of going about it. It doesn't lock you into anything and you put name down on the car. Toyota have actually not allocated much stock for this year. |
