Rear DRLs

Does anyone make a kit, or know of a way of making the rear 'parking' lights act as DRLs? Other than turning on the parking lights, of course.

It's a good idea to have lights on the front of the car on day & night, so why not the rear, too?

I'm swapping my rear lights with Valenti's. They have 3 separate lights in them - tail, brake and turn. I'd like to have the tail light act as a DRL, without having to turn the lights on at the stalk. AFAIK, it's not illegal to drive around during the day with your 'parking' or 'driving' or headlights on (thus causing your tail lights to be on).

I wanted to do that with the rear fog light, but didn't really look into finding a power source to function like that. Took the lazy way, and wired it to the parking lights

The reason why rear DRLs don't exist is because there's a lot of people that can't distinguish between a tail light, brake light and rear fog light. Especially in a day where distracted driving is so common...

During the day, there is a distinct difference between ON and OFF. Adding a constant light at the rear would not make this distinction as obvious.
