Once the car is off warranty this is a no brainer...if you can get it for around 5-6000 €!

I'm hoping Kraftwerks or some U.S. company develops a system in the $3-3500 range. I don't feel like paying JDM tax, but it is what it is.

I wonder how much power could be safely gained with the S/C if a water/methanol injection kit was added...

I don't get it, spend less to get a dyno sheet and not be able to use it? I'll pay the price to get a FI kit that I can beat, if its 5k then so be it. But I don't think anyone should advising to spend less to get a kit thats going to blow up if you actually use it.

That looks like a special version for the race car:

- No AC
- Water/Meth injection near the TB
- BPV vented to the atmosphere
- Intake relocated

Also, for some reason the TB has been relocated further forward, or perhaps that is a larger TB with an adapter.

For me the 86 is meant to be a daily driver, so removing the air con is a total fail.

I was thinking to go SC on my old Clio 172 but there was the same problem, all the kits put the SC in place of the aircon compressor.

The first version of the SC setup allowed for AC.

This is a race car.

Removing the A/C on a street car is not my idea of a good kit.
