I grew up in a county with 1 million people in it, and drove my WRX at that point got plenty of waves from other subie guys. Now with the FRS, in a different state altogether, I STILL get waves or nods from the aforementioned vehicle owners. I think it is just my overwhelming charisma.

Owners of old Porsches always wave; newer car owners don't usually have a clue. I don't see enough other FR-S/BRZ cars to worry about waving, but if I do, I'll wave.

Most waves for me are from fellow forum members. Maybe once or twice by an excited new car owner but otherwise anyone else i came across didn't really care.

Generally BRZ/FRS and Subaru owners wave, but never TC. Maybe its a TC have camaraderie to FRS and WRX closer camaraderie to BRZ?

Always getting positive responses from other FR-s/BRZ drivers in the area.

On the road, I always get the mandatory head nods.

But when I meet a fellow owner in person, tt's always like "Woah man! We have the same car!" and then it's like "Totally man!", "Yeah!" "Yeah!". Then we spend the next half-hour talking about related nonsense like tyres, intakes, exahusts, etc.

Good times...

But seriously, both cars are awesome.

I do think the FR-S seems to be more geared to younger buyers, while the BRZ is more to older buyers (maybe I am imagining that?)

I wave to drivers of the twins. And with twins...you can't be "twins" without the other.

Wait a minute aren't we the Jets?

I can't believe that no one has mentioned this, but the wave is an old British sports car thing too. We all waved at each other, MGs or Austin Healeys or Triumphs, it didn't matter.

I had a guy in a blue BRZ wave to me in the parking lot in front of Staples in Westminister, MD last Saturday.

I've noticed a decent amount of women in 86s too, mostly the FR-S. There's a group that does Limecreek/Twisted Sisters runs every now and then. We should definitely get something official setup.

I'm gonna use the analogy of....

When you're walking, and a random dime piece smiles at you. Some people are left speechless and wonder if it's really happening. While others know that they're just as beautiful and smile the shit out of her.

It's ok... smile back you sexy beasts

Min Coopers used to wave at one another. Thumbs up etc.
When I had mine I always did.

BRZ people are probably jealous as our car is better looking. Whats a TC? LOL.

It is so funny the number of posts of FRS/BRZ owners giving each other shit.

Don't we have enough to deal with from other communities for being "underpowered overpriced"?

Plz go
