Think beer is yuck, try some non-alcoholic beer. I tried a couple from Coors, Heineken, Carlsberg and they all taste like soy sauce diluted with soda water.

I actually really dislike the social meme that links craft beer with hipsters. I wanna find whoever started it and punch him in the face. Neither myself nor my wife are hipsters and we really enjoy it. Funny thing is, whoever I expose to craft beers, regardless of their ... social alignment let's just say... they end up really liking it and begin treating mainstream beer with disdain (like everyone worth their salt is supposed to anyway lol). Try it, it's great! They even have it in ramen joints now, of all places

which beer was this? Can relate, ended up (well second time was by choice) in emerg twice. First time was from vodka though and second from 5 different types of liquor. Puked once from beer but that's because me and a friend went to a bar and they had a long list of craft beers. Tried too many lol

Shocktop. That shit had me chained to the toilet.

All the hard stuff I have never puked or even gotten close. Mind you I don't mix all that much if at all. I'd drink Jaeger like a fish.

Shocktop and Rickards are some of the worst for me in terms of flavour. I've been off beer for so long now, going back is so bad.

The trick is just to have one small glass. I don't think it should come in large cans unless you're sharing with a person. Rickards is garbage. Shock top is not bad, kind of at the bottom rung of acceptability

I don't think I'll go back. For you, I will give craft a shot though. I'm good with my girly drinks and ciders lol.

Btw, have you seen my Instagram yet.

When I was but a wee lad my father was given a prescription from his doctor to drink 1 pint of stout with the evening meal. My father had red coloured water for blood and was losing weight. Geritol and other supplements didn't seem to be doing anything. My father poured a little into a small glass for me to taste. I took a big mouthful and promptly ran to the sink to spit it out. My father said it worked because the taste was so bad you'd eat anything to try and get rid of it.
When I was 18 me and my friends would go out to the local "Men's Room" (pubs for men only) seeing as that was the legal age in Ontario in 1971. They'd order pitcher after pitcher of draught beer while I'd sip but never finish a single glass. I never did learn to like the taste of beer. Even the smell of it would put me off.
